What happened first...

Dear friends, on Thursday August 27 in the evening, Ben and Katie Rye were struck by a truck at high speed while on their way to dinner together. Since that time, Katie has been in stable condition with some injuries and Ben is in a medically induced coma fighting for life. It is our intent to provide family and friends any information available so as many prayers as possible can be offered up. Please read below and then PRAY! If you have any comments, resources you would like to offer, scriptures, or prayers that you wish to enter click the "Prayers for Katie and Ben" link on the right then add your comments. We will be updating this site as often as possible from one direct source so please check in regularly and pray without ceasing.

Was walking around Capitol Lake this morning, and saw a picture for you...the lake is teeming with Salmon. The salmon are restless and jumping and swimming around waiting. This is like all the many friends you have praying for you. The ripple effect of things like prayer chains, word of mouth, this blog, and the Holy Spirit has resulted in countless numbers of people taking an agressive stance to stand in the gap for you during this difficult time. The world is teeming with prayer as we await the good testimonies of God's miraculous touch. "May the God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him." Rom15:13 Scott and Pat

Hi Katie I am a friend of Kathleen and Caleb Darling. Just want you to know that you and Ben are on our prayer list. Praying that our ultimate Healer will be with you and our Comforter will give you the strength and peace you need. And if anyone can give you a friendly hand to hold through all of this it is my dear Kathleen. God's peace be with you.,
In Jesus,
Jean and Charlie Benson

God Please being Katie and Ben the physical strength that they need to endure this troubling time they are facing. Be with them Jesus and offer them comfort they need for the healing process over their physical being. The Devil comes to steal, kill and destroy, but the Devil has no say over you GOD.He will bow down to your throne. No weapon formed against Katie nor Ben shall prosper, because you are a Faithful God and your word will not be delivered void. In your sweet name I pray Jesus. Amen.
