gumdrops...

{this just made me want to run to the store asap and get some!}

Ok so I didn't do any more sewing last night but I did finish up a few things today! I have had the pattern for for this project for some time now (about a year) and also some fabric that has been hanging around! I have just not had my sewing machine around and then the thing hit the dumps and had to be replaced!
I started on this "gumdrop" pillow yesterday and ended up having to modify the pattern a bit on my own because the pattern was hard to follow. Today while Ben was in ST I ran to Joann's to get the stuffing and some regular needles. When I got back Ben was just finishing up and I waited so that he could help me stuff it! He did a great job! Maybe (but not so much) if we ever take orders for pillows at least I know I will have a great stuffer!! :)

Next project on the list, finish my first project, make another gumdrop pillow, find some more stuff to work on...as long as it doesn't keep me up to the weeee hours of the night!
Oh wait, next project is getting ready for our trip to Georgia!!

You are such a crafty lady! I totally have no idea to even turn on a sewing machine. :)

That pillow is extremely cute. I love yellow.

GOOD JOB, BEN!! You, too, Katie! I saw Annie at Ralph's yesterday. It was fun. I love you, Marion (I would have gotten the gumdrops, too)

My new sewing machine is still sitting it the box inside our mud room. I wish I could find an opportunity to take it out and use it. You inspire me!
